Can people power save a slice of paradise?

Unless your head has been in the sand, you have probably heard about the fundraising drive to buy an Abel Tasman beach.

With an asking price of $2 million, in just over two weeks, a Givealittle page has raised more than $1.2 million.

Brothers-in-law Duane Major and Adam Gardner are leading the campaign. They are using people power to save a slice of paradise -- something for everyone to enjoy in a time when so many places like it are the preserve of the powerful and privileged.

Story enlisted the help of Mr Major and Mr Gardner to give us a tour of the very special private beach.
