A driver on a learner licence was pulled over for driving 67km/h over the speed limit in Waikato last night.
The Waikato road policing team pulled over the male driver, who was travelling at 127km/h on a long, wet road with a speed limit of 60km/h.
The team posted a photo of the car to their Facebook page, saying a serious crash unit on-call member has had six callouts this week.
The man's licence and the car were taken off him and he is at the police station until Monday.
The road policing team said the car did not belong to the driver.
