TPP: On the frontline with protesters

TPP – it's one of those acronyms politicians did not really think about.

'Pacific' already implies 'trans' and 'partnership' already implies agreement. Why did they not just call it 'Pacific Agreement'?

Politicians in suits keep telling you how great it is while protestors on the street tell you it's the end of New Zealand.

New Zealand, along with 11 other countries, make up a rather impressive one-third of the world's economy and they have come together and have agreed to not pay taxes on products they buy and sell each other.

Not have taxes sounds positive doesn't it? We sell more things to other people and we make more money.

So Story went to join the frontline with the protesters to find out who they are, why they were there and what it's really about.
