An 18-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed in Hamilton overnight.
Police were called to Massey St in Frankton around 1:20am.
Four people were located nearby and two have been subsequently arrested. They will appear in the Hamilton District Court.
Police are thanking members of the public that helped with administering first aid to the injured man.
