Police are still investigating a Mangere East address, but have yet to confirm whether it's linked to the death of a Thai woman last week.

Officers swooped on a Wayne Dr house yesterday which is believed to be linked to the death Jindarat Prutsiriporn, the woman was tied up and jumped out of a car boot while the vehicle was moving in Papatoetoe last Tuesday.

Detective Inspector Dave Lynch said yesterday police are following a number of leads in their investigation, but wouldn't confirm the operation is specifically related to the death.

Police arrived at the property late on Friday night, and a young Asian man was taken away from the house. Police have remained there ever since.

The street, which is usually described as "quiet", has been humming with activity over the weekend.
