A van driver had a lucky escape after colliding with a car at an intersection in Christchurch.
The incident happened on the Barbadoes St and Lichfield St intersection just before 2:30pm.
Two St John Ambulances repsonded and took two people to Christchurch Hospital, one with moderate injuries and one with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the cause after the van flipped onto its side.
