A 12th woman has reported being indecently assaulted in an Auckland suburb after police said they were seeking a teenage boy over a spate of attacks.

The woman said she was attacked in Onehunga on Easter Monday by a boy who fitted the description of the offender.

Police said yesterday they were looking for a Maori or Pacific Island boy aged between 12-16 over the attacks on females walking or running in the suburb since October last year.

The victims, aged 21 to 52, have been approached from behind and indecently assaulted.

Police said around 15 calls have been made to a hotline set up by the investigation team.
