A group representing dairy owners says it won't be long before one of them is killed.
The Association of Dairies president Neil Patel has spoken out after the release of CCTV footage of an attack by six hooded women in Papatoetoe in South Auckland.
"I think it will happen because if the police are weak, law and order is weak in the country, and these hooligans and idiots will take advantage of it."
The robbery happened in early April when six women entered the store and started to take items while two of them closed the store by pulling the shutters down.
The store attendant was then punched and kicked, causing serious facial injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to identify those involved.
