A 35-year old man police arrested yesterday has been charged with attempted murder over an alleged shooting in Kaitaia during February.
He was arrested in in Karikari Peninsula, Northland.
The accused, who also faces a string of other charges relating to possession of firearms, is set to appear before the Kaitaia District Court this morning.
