Waikato toddler hospitalised after hot pool visit

A toddler has been flown to hospital after he swallowed water and stopped breathing in a Waikato hot pool.

The three-year-old was found by a relative, floating on the surface of a hot pool at Okauia Springs this afternoon.

Once he was lifted out of the pool he started breathing on his own, but was airlifted to Waikato Hospital for treatment.
