Christchurch police are asking for help to track down an alleged sexual offender.
A 17-year-old was allegedly approached by an unknown man on May 1 at 4pm and sexually assaulted by the toilets near the South Brighton Surf Saving Club on Marine Parade, police say.
The man is described as Caucasian, between 30 and 50 years old, bald, tall and with a "fat build".
He was wearing tan-coloured chino pants, a green shirt and a brown business jacket.
