A fifth arrest has been made in relation to the woman who was found bound, gagged and injured on the side of the road north of Auckland.
Rodney Police have charged a 33-year-old man with kidnapping and he has appeared in the North Shore District Court.
Police are not ruling out making further arrests in relation to the incident that happened in Dome Valley.
The 19-year-old woman has been identified and remains in a stable but serious condition in Auckland Hospital.
