Two children missing from their Masterton home for nearly two days have been found safe and well.
The 10 and 12-year-old siblings left their home sometime after 10pm on Sunday.
The pair was located near the Te Ore Ore Rd Bridge in Masterton just before 2pm this afternoon, police say.
Bikes belonging to the children were found first and the children were found shortly afterwards as a result of information from the public.
A family member posted on Facebook that they had gone in search of their mother, who has not been seen for some time.
The relative posted a plea for help on Facebook yesterday and thanked the "support of New Zealand".
