Police have publically released the last known image of slain Christchurch sex worker Renee Duckmanton, in an attempt to understand the circumstances around her death.
The image, taken from a CCTV camera on Peterborough St, shows Ms Duckmanton walking down the street at around 9pm the day she went missing.
The area is frequented by many people on a Saturday night; positioned close to Margaret Mahy Park.
As part of ongoing investigations, police are asking for any sightings of Ms Duckmanton and are hoping the image might spark the memory of somebody who may have been around the streets at the time.
They say Renee likely arived in the area around 8:30pm and at approximately 9pm she walked across Manchester St and onto Peterborough St.
