Dislocating a rib hasn't stopped a woman smashing a world record for the highest static trapeze act over Ashburton.
Wellington ambulance officer Anna Cochrane set the record by performing a five-minute routine while hanging from a hot air balloon on Sunday.
She completed the routine at an altitude of between 10,400 feet and 11,400ft, an increase of the previous world record set at 2171ft.
A few minutes into the routine, Ms Cochrane dislocated a rib, but the pain did not stop her completing the challenge.
"A little part of me thought that this was all too big and it couldn't happen, but the whole thing went so smoothly," she said.
