A police officer in Wellington is causing a stir on social media after footage of him playing guitar alongside a busker was released.
In the video, which was originally posted by AfroNz Mohamed and then reposted by the New Zealand Police, the officer plays a few riffs on a busker's electric guitar in full uniform.
It all goes down on Courtenay Pl, central Wellington, and the officer draws quite the crowd by the time he finishes his solo. At the end of the video the crowd cheers as the he takes off the guitar and hands it back to its owner.
The New Zealand Police has been in the spotlight a lot recently for posting a video of a few officers doing the "Running Man Challenge", calling on other law enforcement authorities to post their replies.
That video has been viewed more than 9 million times.
