The target of immunising 1.2 million people against the flu has been achieved, two months earlier than last year.
Health Minister Jonathan Coleman is praising GPs, pharmacists and workplace vaccinators for reaching the milestone so early into winter.
He's urging anyone who hasn't had their jab to get it done.
"Influenza rates haven't yet reached winter levels," he said on Friday.
"As the vaccine can take up to a fortnight to provide full protection it's worth getting sooner rather than later."
