Police say a gun was fired into the air at Kennedy Bay on Sunday, and a ute was used to ram a parked car.
The Armed Offenders Squad was called out and two men were arrested.
The 27-year-old has been charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and the 29-year-old has been charged with wilful damage.
Police say they're not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
In February, the marae at Kennedy Bay was put into lockdown after an alleged gun fight, which was said to be gang related.
