A man has died after two cars crashed at a railway crossing in Canterbury.
The accident happened in the Selwyn district between Kirwee and Darfield around 5:10pm on Friday.
A man believed to be in his 60s sustained serious injuries and was flown to hospital by a rescue helicopter.
