Dunedin motorcyclist dies after crash

A motorcyclist critically injured in a collision with a car in Otago has died in hospital.

Riley Baker, 26, from Dunedin, died on Monday morning.

He was taken to hospital by helicopter after the crash, which happened on State Highway 1 south of Hampden about 4:30pm on Saturday.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident.
