Waikato Police are asking for the public's help to find Adele Townsend after she did not reach her destination on Saturday.
Ms Townsend was in Wellington before taking a bus home to Hamilton.
Her brother had seen her off, however she failed to arrive in Hamilton on Saturday night.
Ms Townsend is described as 53-years-old, and 150cm tall with long brown hair.
While there is no description of what she was wearing, she did have a large material bag coloured blue and white with her on the bus.
Police are unsure if Ms Townsend got off at an earlier stop or if she was not seen by family when the bus arrived in Hamilton.
At this stage it is unclear where she may have gone as she was planning on heading home.
