Jewellery stolen in 'brazen' burglary

Bay of Plenty police are looking for information after a "brazen" burglary in broad daylight.

Jewellery with sentimental value was among the items taken in the robbery on Papamoa Beach Rd, Papamoa East, on Tuesday.

An Apple laptop, alcohol, a camera and shoes were also stolen.

Police say the burglar entered through a front window between 10am and 11am, after the house's occupant left for about an hour.
