Police have charged a 62-year-old woman with careless operation of a vehicle causing the death of a US tourist at Mt Nicholas Station near Queenstown.
The accident happened at the South Island tourist hotspot in April this year when the bus driver allegedly reversed over 73-year-old Richard Philip Hyde, who was on holiday from Massachusetts, US.
The woman will appear in the Queenstown District Court in two weeks.
