Police in Palmerston North are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Milson Four Square this afternoon.
The incident took place just before 1:30pm when the armed offender entered the Four Square on Langley Ave and demanded money and cigarettes.
After being given both of these by the shop attendant, the offender fled on foot down Catlins Cres.
Police would like to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area on Saturday afternoon.
