Reg Cooper is a 91-year-old war veteran who is still fighting. It's the battle of his leaky home and for 23 years, he's been on the offensive against the enemy he holds responsible.
Every few days it rains and Mr Cooper has to struggle up onto chairs to reach buckets which catch the water, water which would otherwise drip into the kitchen and his living room.
The leaky home crises of sub-standard housing built in the 1990s is a multi-billion dollar problem that just won't go away.
