The former principal of a small Waikato school jailed for online child sex abuse material has withdrawn his appeal.
Bruce Darroch, 51, was planning to appeal after being convicted and sentenced to two-and-a-half years' jail for making an objectionable publication, possessing objectionable material and failing to give computer passwords to police.
The former principal of Putaruru's Te Waotu School, Darroch was known online as "Lust Boy KWB" and shared images of pupils - which were not deemed objectionable - and stories about them with a US child sex abuse network.
A court date had been set for Tuesday in Rotorua but court staff confirmed the case was not going ahead.
Darroch's lawyer Russell Fairbrother QC refused to comment.
