Hundreds of ghosts and ghouls were pounding the pavement on Monday night searching for some Halloween candy.
The holiday has taken off here, with more and more Kiwi kids trick-or-treating every year. Newshub went out and joined them.
It's Halloween's biggest tradition - dressing up and knocking on strangers' doors for lollies.
And for my first time trick-or-treating, I wanted the most popular costume.
"Steam punk is always really big and shown that it's popular," says owner at Costume Cave Kate Railton-Jacks. "Donald Trump has been another scary one."
Sadly they were all out of Trump wigs, so after a few experiments, I settled on a Pumpkin - as long as I was home before midnight.
