Breakers player Corey Webster is facing a further two charges over an alleged bar fight on Auckland's North Shore.

Webster made a brief second appearance at the North Shore District court on Tuesday morning where entered no plea and was remanded on bail.

He initially faced one charge of assault following an incident at a Takapuna bar in November.

He now also faces a second assault charge and a third of assault with intent to injure.

Webster avoided questions from media when he arrived this morning supported by his girlfriend.

He's due to reappear before a judge on Thursday.
