The largest downhill mountain bike park in the Southern Hemisphere is about to open in Christchurch.
Christchurch Adventure Park has been a project two years in the making, and opens to the public on December 21.
Boasting bike trials for all levels of riders, a mountain coaster, bar and restaurant, zipline and over 120km of bike routes, there is plenty to do.
And with a 50-year land agreement with the landowner, there will be plenty of opportunities to hit the tracks.
