A spat has broken out between Lewis Road Creamery and Fonterra, with the smaller boutique dairy claiming the latter has launched a product sold in copycat milk bottles, designed to confuse shoppers.
Fonterra's Kapiti organic milk range features very similar branding to Lewis Road Creamery's organic products, prompting them to send a letter to the dairy giant.
Lewis Road Creamery founder Peter Cullinane spoke to Ali Mau about the company's action so far.
