A fire burning in the Wither Hills Farm Park behind Blenheim in Marlborough is under control, the Fire Service says.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire at about 2.30pm on Saturday, police say.
The fire is under control and all units will be returning home soon, a Fire Service spokesman says.
He said there were three areas of fire near the landfill.
"We've scaled back the operation," he says.
A working sheep and cattle farm, the park is on the southern boundary of Blenheim.
There were several fires in the park last summer during March and in the Boxing Day fires in 2000 a large area of grassland was destroyed when the Wither Hills were on fire for several days.
