It's that time of the year again when all you hear is Christmas songs from the shopping mall to the car radio.
Most will be about the snow, reindeers, sitting by the fire and the freezing cold.
But that's the antithesis of a New Zealand summer Christmas where it's BBQ's, beaches and plenty of sunshine and we should be proud of it and celebrate it.
