The holidays are almost here and we all know we need to stay off the roads if we're under the influence.

But what if your influence isn't alcohol or drugs, but tiredness?

Scientists are telling us the impact of tiredness can be just as dangerous as alcohol and we know we shouldn't get behind the wheel when drinking, but are we as diligent when it comes to being tired?

It's estimated fatigue contributes to 20-25 percent of crashes on our roads.

Story decided to put this to the test at Hampton Downs where we pitted a drowsy driver against a drunk driver and a driver who was neither.
