Three people have been injured in a three car crash on State Highway One in Kapiti.
The crash happened just before 10am this morning south of the Otaki South Bridge.
Three people are injured, including one who was flown via helicopter to Wellington Hospital and another who was flown to Palmerston North hospital.
The road has been closed to allow rescue helicopters to land and motorists are asked to avoid the area and diversions in place at Te Horo and on Old Gorge Road.
