Police are hunting for a person after an alleged shooting at a Whakatane fruit farm.
They were called to Julian's Berry Farm in Huna Road shortly before 1:30pm.
There are reports of a firearm being discharged towards the floor in an aggravated robbery. Two people were hit by pellets and were treated by ambulance at the scene for minor injuries.
The Armed Offenders Squad is attending, and have cordoned off the building.
Victim support has been allowed through the cordon.
