Is this the most Westie wedding of all time?

A video of a New Zealand wedding has gone viral after the bride and groom's extremely laidback style captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands.

In a scene that looks as though it's been taken straight from an episode of Outrageous Fortune, the video, posted on Facebook page The Uce Hub on Monday night, shows a stress-free gathering outside a humble home, with bride and groom Ange and Cody hunched against an external wall of the house.

It's clear almost immediately that the wedding isn't the traditional big bonanza you'd expect from the outfits worn by those present. The bride is in jandals and a casual striped dress, while the groom is wearing what appear to be togs, skate shoes and a T-shirt with the Black Power logo emblazoned on the front.

Footage shows the moment the vows are read out; the celebrant struggling to get the customary 'I will' from each participant, with Cody replying exclusively with the phrase 'yoza' and Ange simply refusing to answer, instead choosing to place her fist in the air.

At one point, the celebrant tells the groom that he can hold his soon-to-be-wife's hand while the vows are read out - but when he tries he is unable because she's already holding a one-litre bottle of Export Gold in her hand.

"I usually say you can put your flowers down, but however," the celebrant laughs.

Towards the end of the clip, the celebrant makes the mistake of calling the groom Corey rather than Cody - a move the bride jokes will "cause a domestic".

The celebrant then worryingly reminds them that she "already started one at the beginning" of the ceremony, before hurriedly following that up with "we won't go there".

The video has receiving 581,000 views, 3530 shares and nearly 6000 reactions in just 13 hours.
