A body has been found under a bridge in Motueka, near Nelson, on Sunday night.
The body was found just before 6pm under the Motueka Bridge on Main Rd, on the outskirts of the town.
A police spokesperson told Newshub the death is being treated as unexplained at the moment but is not believed to be suspicious.
Police are working on identifying the body and notifying next of kin.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
