Two people have been killed in separate car crashes on Friday night.
One person died in a single-car crash in Taihape.
Paramedics were unable to revive the driver after being called to State Highway 1 between Mulvays Corner and Spooners Hill Rd just after 8pm.
In Marlborough, one man has died and three others have been injured in a single-car crash near Havelock.
Police were called to the scene about 11pm on Friday on State Highway 6 near Kaituna-Tuamarina Rd.
The survivors are in hospital.
