Firefighters have contained two large shed fires near Pukekohe, south of Auckland.
The two 50m by 20m buildings full of farming equipment on Ostrich Farm Rd went up in flames around 5:30am.
Fire service spokesperson Paul Radden says the sheds were well ablaze when crews arrived.
"We have approximately 30 firefighters in attendance with eight appliances… it's not extinguished, but it is contained. No other properties are in danger."
A fire investigator will head to the scene later on Saturday morning.
