Two men have been taken to hospital after a light plane crashed in Northland.
Emergency services were called to Pouto Rd, south of Dargaville, just before 10.30am on Friday.
The plane crashed into a paddock. There were two male passengers on-board who were treated by ambulance staff for minor injuries.
"They will be taken to Dargaville Hospital as a precaution," police said.
The Civil Aviation Authority will investigate.
