Video has emerged of two youths harassing an elderly woman and trespassing on her property in Porirua.
The videos posted to Facebook show two females approach a residence in the suburb of Titahi Bay, knocking on windows and jumping fences.
The pair have also allegedly turned the property's power off and broke an alarm system.
Police say they have been made aware of a number of incidents of youths lingering around residential properties in the area.
"These incidents have happened both in the past and recently," a police spokesperson said.
"Police know who is responsible for the recent incidents and the people involved will be dealt with by Police Youth Aid staff."
The videos have sparked outrage on social media, with one person saying: "Unbelievable how horrible some humans can be. Hope someone gets them."
The videos have been viewed more than 100,000 times on Facebook.
Police say anyone who is concerned about their property or community should contact them.
