A Hamiltonian is $1 million richer after taking out last night's Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at a Countdown supermarket in Te Rapa.

Powerball was again missed, and will jackpot to $20 million on Wednesday.

Strike was split between two players - one in Papakura, the other on the West Coast.

Five Audi A1 cars were also given away as part of a Mother's Day promotion. They went to Lotto players in Cambridge, Tauranga, Napier, Upper Hutt and Ashburton.
