A Powerball player from Thames has won $27.3 million in Saturday's draw.
The winning ticket was sold at Martina Four Square and Lotto in Thames, and the prize is made up of $27 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.
This is the fourth largest Powerball win ever in the history of the game in New Zealand.
The winning Lotto numbers were 2, 3, 8, 9, 28, and 36.
The bonus ball was 18, and the Powerball number was 10.
