Global doughnut chain Krispy Kreme will open its first store in New Zealand next year.
It's set to be opened in Manukau, South Auckland on land owned by the Wiri Licensing Trust.
Krispy Kreme has more than 1000 doughnut stores across the world, and the first store outside the US was opened in Sydney, Australia.
Wiri Licensing Trust chairman Alan Johnson told Fairfax he expects it will create 150 full and part-time jobs.
The Manukau store will offer a drive-through option, and also serve as the company's manufacturing base for Auckland and Waikato, Fairfax reports, suggesting the possibility of other stores across New Zealand.
Krispy Kreme chief executive Andrew McGuigan told Fairfax there's " huge opportunity for Krispy Kreme to become a favourite amongst Kiwis".
"The Manukau site is ideal for our flagship store and operational facility and we expect it to be a popular destination that all can enjoy."
Wiri Licensing Trust and Krispy Kreme have been approached for comment.
