Do you remember the periodic table song? It came in handy for Tauranga optometrist Kath Collins visiting Wellington on Wednesday morning, when she had a go at 9 in 10 on The AM Show.
Feeling "nervous but confident" she waited as host Duncan Garner delivered the big question.
"Do Tauranga proud in Wellington," he said. "I want you to name for me elements on the periodic table. Go."
And after a hesitant start, Ms Collins tore through nearly 11 in 10. But the final number had yet to be counted.
"When I saw this question this morning my heart sunk, I thought I wouldn't get anyone," Garner said.
An anxious wait followed before his call: "Kath you didn't get nine in 10, you got 10 in 10 and you're going to Fiji!"
Loud screaming and dancing on Cuba Mall ensued.
"Me and my daughter - is it for two? Brianna, we're going on a cruise!"
