Coastguard volunteers took out top honours last night at the New Zealand Search and Rescue Awards - two men in particular recognised for their years of dedication and commitment to saving lives.
Ray Burge, of NORTHERN REGION and Ian Coard, from Coastguard Riverton, were each presented with gold awards at a special ceremony at Parliament.
