Restrictions on flights in and out of Auckland Airport due to fog were finally lifted at 2pm on Saturday.
They had been in place since 4:22am, disrupting travellers to and from New Zealand's largest city.
About 51 domestic flights were delayed and a further 64 were cancelled, Auckland Airport said.
One domestic flight and three international flights were diverted to Wellington.
WeatherWatch.co.nz said a large high pressure system over New Zealand created the fog and more fog was possible on Sunday morning.
