Police are searching for a prisoner who escaped from guards while attending a funeral last Thursday.
Lusitino Selesele escaped from Corrections' custody after being granted compassionate temporary escort from Spring Hill Corrections Facility.
It is believed he is with his partner, Jacinta Sale, who has two warrants for her arrest over driving while disqualified.
Selesele is a 41-year-old Pacific Islander, with a large build and a height of1.82m.
Sale is a Pacific Islander, around 1.78m tall and of medium build.
The couple are believed to be in west Auckland's Waitakere area and using a white Holden Combo van with the registration of CYN814.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
