Two people have been taken to hospital following concerns over an unusual smell at a KFC west of Christchurch on Saturday morning.
Four people reported feeling unwell at the Rolleston fast food outlet on Tennyson Drive. The building was evacuated at 10:30am and fire crews arrived at the scene half an hour later.
It's believed the smell originated from epoxy glue used by contractors making repairs to skirting boards yesterday, a KFC worker told Newshub.
The building remains closed.
