Rotorua police are seeking sightings of an uncle and nephew who have been missing for four days.

Raymond Fleet, 51, and James Fleet, 25, were last seen by their families on 7 August. Police believe they could be together and could be in Rotorua or Auckland.

Detective Sergeant George Staunton says the pair's behaviour is described as our of character and police say their disappearance "is at odds with their normal activities and work commitments."

Raymond Joseph Fleet is of thin to medium build with a receding hairline, with short brown hair and a moustache. He has a tattoo of a bird on his back.

James David Fleet is of medium build, with thick wavy dark brown shoulder length hair. He has tattoos along his right arm of crossed rifles under a 'Codys' symbol and a dragon-looking tattoo down his right forearm to his hand.

Any sightings and or information can be directed to the Rotorua Police through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
